Era of Conquest (Korean title: 정복시대) is a free, browser-based turn-based grand strategy game. You take command of a nation on a world map, expand your territory province by province, weigh war against diplomacy, and race rival empires to victory. It runs entirely in your web browser — no download, no account, and no login required. Your progress is saved on your own device.

What kind of game is it?

Era of Conquest is inspired by classic map-painting strategy games. Every turn you decide where to attack, where to reinforce, and whether to develop your economy or fortify your borders. The map is a real-world map, and neighbouring territories are connected by shared land borders and sea routes, so geography genuinely shapes your campaign. A single match can be a quick 30-turn sprint or a long war of total conquest.

How to play

1. Choose a scenario and a nation. Pick your objective (total conquest, a conquest-rate target, a turn limit, or reaching the industrial era) and difficulty, then choose the country you want to lead.
2. Select your territory. Tap one of your provinces to select it — it lights up with a bright border.
3. Act on a neighbour. Tap a highlighted adjacent province to open the action menu: an orange border means you can attack (enemy or neutral land), a teal border means you can reinforce (your own land).
4. Win the battle. If the attacking army is larger than the defender, you capture the province. A garrison of one unit always stays behind in the province you moved from.
5. Manage your realm. Tap a selected province again to open the internal menu: Develop to raise production, or Fortify to raise defence. Each province can act once per turn.
6. End the turn. Your provinces produce fresh troops, then every rival nation takes its turn. Repeat until you meet your victory condition.

Reading the map

• The number on each territory is its current army strength.
• The coloured badge behind the number shows the owner — grey means neutral (unowned) land, a nation's colour means that nation, and a white outline marks your own land.
• Grey neutral land can be attacked and captured directly, with no declaration of war.
• The scoreboard tracks your conquest rate, the number of surviving rival powers, and each nation's territory count.

Strategy tips

• Grow before you fight. Early on, absorbing grey neutral land is far cheaper than attacking a defended enemy province.
• Concentrate your force. Reinforce a single frontline province into a spearhead instead of spreading troops thinly along the border.
• Use diplomacy as a weapon. A non-aggression pact secures one border so you can commit everywhere else; paying a rival to attack your strongest enemy can break a stalemate.
• Don't over-extend. Every province you own must still defend itself — a long, thin empire is easy to cut apart.
• Fortify chokepoints. A single heavily fortified province can hold a whole front while you push elsewhere.

Is it free?

Yes. Era of Conquest is free to play. The only ads are optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch for an in-game bonus — there are no forced full-screen ads.

게임 방법

1. 시나리오와 국가를 고릅니다. 목표(정복 · 정복률 · 턴 제한 · 산업시대 도달)와 난이도를 정한 뒤, 이끌 나라를 선택합니다.
2. 내 영토를 선택합니다. 내 지방을 탭하면 밝은 테두리로 선택됩니다.
3. 인접지에 행동합니다. 강조된 인접 칸을 탭하면 행동 메뉴가 뜹니다 — 주황 테두리는 공격(적·중립), 청록 테두리는 증원(내 땅)입니다.
4. 전투에서 이깁니다. 이동 병력이 수비 병력보다 많으면 그 지방을 점령합니다. 출발지에는 항상 병력 1이 남습니다.
5. 내정을 관리합니다. 선택한 내 땅을 다시 탭하면 내정 메뉴가 열립니다 — 🏗️ 개발(생산력↑) 또는 🛡️ 요새화(방어↑). 각 지방은 턴당 1번 행동합니다.
6. 턴을 넘깁니다. 내 지방이 병력을 생산한 뒤 모든 경쟁국이 턴을 진행합니다. 승리 조건을 만족할 때까지 반복합니다.

지도 보는 법

• 땅 위의 숫자는 그 지역의 병력입니다.
• 숫자 뒤 동그란 뱃지 색은 주인입니다 — 회색은 중립(주인 없는 땅), 세력 색은 그 나라, 흰 테두리는 내 땅입니다.
• 회색 중립 땅은 전쟁 없이 바로 공격해 점령할 수 있습니다.
• 점수판은 정복률, 남은 적 세력 수, 나라별 영토 수를 보여줍니다.

전략 팁

• 싸우기 전에 성장하세요. 초반에는 방어된 적 지방을 치는 것보다 회색 중립 땅을 흡수하는 편이 훨씬 쌉니다.
• 병력을 집중하세요. 국경 전체에 얇게 펴는 대신 한 전선 지방을 창끝으로 키우세요.
